I love the look of fondant, but not the taste/hassle. I'm fast with the piping bag too so for this cake, it just made more sense. The sides are done in a basketweave style that was really simple but (luckily) gave a bit of a "WoW" factor! It’s buttercream. I love the look of fondant, but not the taste/hassle.
